GENERAL CONDITIONS WINTER
These general terms and conditions of sale apply to sales made between Hotel Arboisie (483 Route du Gollet - 74120 MEGEVE) and the Customer.
Prices include VAT. Visitor's tax, governmental or local taxes may be requested in addition and will be paid on site. The amount of the tourist tax is likely to vary according to the legal provisions which could be taken.
The Conditions of Sale for the fare booked specify the terms and conditions for cancelling and/or modifying the booking.
All reservations will be confirmed upon receipt of an initial deposit, with the balance due prior to the customer's arrival under the following conditions:
FREEDOM RATE
- WARRANTY POLICY :
A deposit of 30% will be charged on booking. The balance is payable on arrival at the hotel.
- CANCELLATION POLICY :
Free cancellation up to 14 days (12:00 GMT-1:00) before arrival date. In the event of late cancellation or no-show, the amount received will be retained as a cancellation fee.
FLEXIBLE RATE
- WARRANTY POLICY :
A deposit of 30% will be charged on booking. The balance is payable on arrival at the hotel.
- CANCELLATION POLICY :
Cancellation free of charge up to 21 days (12:00 GMT-1:00) before arrival date. In case of late cancellation or no show, the total amount of the reservation will be collected as cancellation fee.
NON-REFUNDABLE, NON-CANCELLABLE RATES
- WARRANTY POLICY :
The total amount of the reservation, excluding taxes, will be debited at the time of booking.
- CANCELLATION POLICY :
In the event of cancellation or no show, the amount collected will be retained as a cancellation fee.
No right of withdrawal
In accordance witharticle L221-28 12° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the provision of accommodation services, which must be provided on a specific date or period. Consequently, reservations made with our establishment are not subject to the right of withdrawal.
**Our cancellation conditions and policies are subject to change according to the different seasons (Summer - Winter - Trade fair periods ...).

For any stay booked directly on our website, receive :
- Up to 10% credit based on the total amount of your accommodation. This credit is valid in the hotel restaurant and bars for the duration of your stay.
Offer valid for bookings made now for stays between now and December 31, 2026 (subject to availability).
The amount of the credit is calculated on the total price of the accommodation (excluding extras, taxes and fees).
The credit can only be used during the stay and in the restaurant/bars of the hotel concerned.
Credit is non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be carried forward in the event of non-use.
Offer is not applicable to group bookings (10 rooms or more) and cannot be combined with other promotions.
Certain dates may be subject to restrictions.
CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS
Cancellation by the hotelier
The reservation contract may be terminated by the hotel owner, without giving rise to the payment of damages to customers, in the event of an event constituting force majeure, or in the event of the hotel being unable to operate. Any deposits paid by the customer will be refunded.
CONDITIONS OF STAY & LIABILITY
At the time of booking, you will be asked for the number of people - adults and children - occupying the room, as well as the first and last names of each person. Under no circumstances may the number of people exceed the room's maximum capacity.
Pets under 9 kg are welcome. A pet supplement must be paid on booking or on arrival at the hotel.
Rooms available :
Arrival: We will do our best to have your room ready as soon as possible. Please note, however, that this will not be possible until 4:00 pm. Departure: Rooms must be vacated by 11:00 am.
For late departures, please contact reception. Additional charges may apply.
Any extras consumed by customers must be paid for on the day of departure by credit card or in cash at reception.
The Customer undertakes to respect private and communal areas and will be held responsible for any damage caused. Any behavior contrary to public decency or public order will lead the hotel management to ask the Customer to leave the establishment without compensation or reimbursement.
A set of house rules is available on the premises. Please read and respect them.
Claims
Your satisfaction is our priority. If you have a complaint, please let us know when you arrive at the hotel, or send us a written request within 10 days.
In the event of a negative response or no response within sixty (60) days of this contact, the customer may contact the Médiateur du Tourisme et du Voyage -CS 30958 75383PARIS cedex 08, whose contact details and procedures are available on the www.mtv.travel website.
STATUTORY & REGULATORY TAXES
Any modification or introduction of new legal (VAT) or regulatory taxes imposed by the competent authorities will automatically be reflected in the prices indicated at the time of invoicing. Prices may be increased by different taxes in different cities/countries, and may be subject to change.
Information
Prices do not include tourist tax, which must be paid on site. The tourist tax is subject to change depending on economic conditions and regulatory provisions leading to price variations such as: changes in the applicable VAT rate, introduction of new taxes ... etc..
